Welcome to the exciting world of custom ring bearer pillows!!  I can make any size or shape we can come up with, match your theme and colors, or just help you to express your true self though fabric, ribbon, beading and creativity.  Do you have a specific idea in mind, such as a holiday themed pillow, or perhaps a ring bearer pillow for your Dog- of-honor?  I can work with you to come up with the perfect pillow.
Creating your own custom ring bearer pillow can be fun and challenging as you sort out your themes and colors.  As your plan comes into focus, I will provide swatch samples via email and sketches of what your pillow will look like, as well as photos of the progress, as we keep in close contact about all elements of your special pillow.

How much embellishment?
Some folks go for the simple style, while others love the hand quilted rosettes or flowers spilling over the edges. Beading and ribbons can also dress up your pillow.  The choice is yours.
The edges of the pillow also play a huge part on the finished look of the pillow.  Lace edges can give a traditional look, a seamed single stitch edge, a particular elegance, and a triple seams edge, contemporary flair.  The options are as boundless as our imaginations--and I am always willing to make suggestions!
Once we have created your ideal pillow, you may want to continue your theme through other elements.  I can make favors such as bookmarks or mini-pillows and more.  I also can create a guest book covered with matching fabric.  Check it out on the site.
I charge a small fee for working with you to create your pillow--this helps defray the cost of buying the swatches to provide as samples and the time it takes to provide the sketches and photos for your perusal.  When the pillow is complete, I post it, and you purchase it directly from the site.  I keep the image up, to provide visitors with an example of  what custom work can be, but it is not available to the public--remember, that pillow was made especially for you!

In the Mood For Love

This is a pillow with several layers--in more than one way!  It has many layers of fabric to give such an interesting  three dimensional look.  First I used a white poly-satin, layered hearts of red and purple in the shape of a heart and then overlaid it with an iridescent pink fabric to give a gorgeous sheen.  For a final touch, I hand quilted the heart shape for further dimension.  This pillow can be used as a ring bearer pillow, but it would also make a beautiful presentation pillow for a Valentine's day wish for your special someone. This Misty Heart pillow complements any event where LOVE is involved!
This pillow is approximately 7" by 7", with a satin red ribbon to tie your rings or secure your special gift.  Securing the ribbon is a whimsical square faux-gem button.  There is a holding band on the back, which can be used for a ring bearer to hold or to hold your card that carries your Valentine wishes.  Either way as ring bearer pillow or as a gift, this delightful pillow has plenty of character!

Crimson For your Love!

Who wouldn't want a Chocolate Pillow!??

Here is the latest addition to the Asian Inspiration Collection.   Rich chocolate brown is quickly becoming a popular color used in weddings, particularly when matched with turquoise and a chic raspberry pink.  The design itself is lovely; interlaced, silver rimmed flowers and peacocks. This is one trendy pillow that would complement any wedding. The Asian inspired Brocade fabric is smooth with a great sheen. A seamed edge adds elegance.  I used a wine colored ribbon to tie your rings and a fantastic glass bead lined with interesting turquoise, silver and blue details, complemented by three smaller iridescent  beads.  Click on the bead detail for a close up look on these gorgeous beads.  I take great pride in the details of my pillows and I handcover  and hand fasten all buttons, beads and other details that make each pillow a special work of art.
The back is supplied with the standard holding band for your ring bearer to get a good grip. That is particularly important for the younger ring bearer.  My fiance's four year old nephew recently informed me he may be compelled to toss the pillow in the air several times en route to the final destination.  I may have to use a extra super band for that little guy!

Star Light Star Bright

It's a starry, starry night with this gorgeous, dark blue brocade ring bearer pillow, festooned with glittering, silver stars.
Starry Night  is a 7"X7" square, with a silver star button mimicking the central star, and a silver wired ribbon, to hold your precious cargo in a secure fashion.  Iridescent beads decorate the ends of the ribbons. A band is sewn to the back to make sure your enthusiastic ring bearer can keep a secure grip.

Chaos in the Studio.

I shoot all my own pillows, as I have a background in photography.  However, I can't say that I have the most advanced studio. I try to limit who can just walk on in, but sometimes the paparazzi just bust on through! Sometimes it's just an animal house!!  Carmine Gazpacho, AKA "Thunderfoot" (how such a small cat can stomp around so loudly is beyond me...) just had to get in the picture here.  I  guess he thinks he's an A-Lister. And perhaps he is.  As I am not on the A-list, I may not be privy to all its members.  Perhaps Carmine will take me to one of those hard-to-get-into clubs one of these days. You'd be surprised how many of those there are in Central Pennsylvania.  I think they are all secret, though.

Custom Made Ring Bearer Pillows

I have been making more and more pillows and coming up with tons of neat ideas to make ring bearer pillows so special, you just can't get them anywhere else!  I specialize in the unusual, as you may have noticed, and feel that everyone has an individuality inside that needs to be expressed. I want to help you realize your ideal pillow.   I recently began making these mini-pillows, intended for gift giving--possibly even for  THAT  ring! I have packaged them in these sweet, tiny, pale green boxed.  Brett, my significant other,  suggested perhaps I cover the box with the same fabric as the pillow inside.  Hmmmm.  I might just do that.  Let me know what you think. In the PINK!!

Wild and wooly, this sassy, hot pink fur ring pillow is not for the tame!  When I found this fabric I knew I could do something great with it.  This could be the special element that makes your
wedding!!

Seven inches square, this pillow is softly stuffed to allow the fur, which is coverd in textural whorls, to really speak for itself. The center has the custom covered button, with a 1/4 inch satin ribbon tipped with iridescent pink beads. I double stitched the edges for an elegant, finished look. 

One of my favorite features of this fur is that is has an almost tie-dyed look, with parts lighter pink and parts richer pink.  This really gives the fabric character and depth.

Black Beauty

This gorgeous black, red, and gold brocade ring bearer pillow  stirs the senses with its smooth fabric and rich, Asian inspired design. The pillow is part of a collection I have been working on of brocade fabrics-thick, rich and wonderful with which to work. The feel alone serves to inspire, and the patterns I have found are thrilling.

This pillow is approximately 7 inches square, with an elegant stitched edge. A  vivid red red satin ribbon to holds your rings and a band of the same fabric on the back so that young, impetuous ring bearers will hold tight, no matter how hard they try not to do so!! The ded satin ribbons are punctuated with glossy black beads, and the center button is, of course hand covered with the smae brocade fabric.

This is perfect for anyone who loves Asian-inspired pieces, or has red or black  wedding theme colors.

Woodland Wonder

This 7"x7" pillow uses the whimsical elements of the forest in a whole new way as a sheer overlay to produce a soft pink delicacy of a piece.  A soft faux micro suede complements the smooth top. It's simplicity draws attention to the fern embedded in the white overlay, while the edged stitching fosters a finished elegance to complement your style.  Small iridescent beads add a finishing touch to a white satin ribbon to hold your rings securely down the aisle, and a holding band on the reverse is perfect for small hands to hold on tightly. The center of the pillow is punctuated by a hand covered button of the matching pink with white fern overlay.

I enjoyed making this pillow, experimenting with overlay fabrics.  I am pleased with the simplicity of the design, as many of my designs can be wild at times! I hope you find this pillow would make a lovely addition to you special day.

Holiday Blues

Nothing like a blue and white wrapped gift for the Chanukah season!  I had made a ring bearer pillow earlier that has already found a wedding using the same ribbon--the blue and white is so versatile-the first pillow had a blue base, so I thought I would give white a go--you know how I love to dress up that traditional white pillow!!
The pillow is a 7"x7" square, from a beautifully soft, white faux microsuede with a finished seamed edge. The ribbon is, of course, a blue and white plaid, with sheer sections, placed across the pillow like a present. There is a holding band across the back, using the same blue plaid ribbon. The center is punctuated by one of my coordinating, hand beaded, hand covered buttons.  This button is extra big, covered with the white faux microsuede with five concentric rows of beading. The beads are clear glass with shades of blue interiors. I finished the white 1/16th " satin ring holding ribbon with four small glass beads  that match the button and one cornflower blue frosted glass bead. This pillow has many fine details, but a simplicity that I find appealing.
I do love the "gift" design-it would complement a casual or a formal wedding.

Catch a Falling Star

I love mixing up white with other subtle colors-still traditional, yet allows the personality of the pillow to shine through. Using the pattern of  the overlay fabric to guide my beading was a fun use of the fabric's "identity".

This handmade ringbearer pillow is approximately 7"x7", and has many interesting, unique features. Subtle gold fabric peeks through a white mesh overlay decorated with stars and handbeaded with faux pearls. A vintage-look golden button with a pearly center punctuates the center and fastens a 1/4 grosgrain ribbon for your rings. The back of the pillow is a creamy white textured poly-silk. Truly a unique piece, made to carry precious cargo, and make memories.

This pillow has found a home, but there is the chance that I will make another that is similar--not exactly the same, of course!!

Tangerine Dream

Orange is my all time favorite color! To note, I just got a sparkly orange manicure today-to match this pillow! The fabric is a multi faceted orange, with gold threads shooting through, giving it such a fantastic sheen; I was breathless when I saw this fabric. Light positively emanates from the curves so that it glistens in the light. So, naturally, I felt obligated to showcase it here, for you.
This pillow is approximately 7" square. with a stitched edge. The  hand covered button is ensconced within  three layers of ruched rounds, complemented by 1/4" gold chiffon ribbon to securely fasten your rings. The ends of the ribbon are decorated with orange glass beads ringed with a glittering gold spiral. The back has  a holding band about 2.5" wide, hand sewn onto the pillow.  It is wide enough to really attach to the hands of a frisky  ring bearer- nearly impossible to drop!

I am really smitten with this pillow, if you can't tell, and have even  considered this fabric for a pillow for my own wedding.  I am more than happy to offer this one to you, though!

Back to Tradition-With STYLE!

This handmade ringbearer pillow is approximately 7"x7", and features cream poly-silk covered by a textured square pattern chiffon. A handsewn chiffon medallion with a silver and white button adorns the center or the pillow and secures the 1/16 inch satin ring ribbons to tie your rings. Truly a unique piece, made to carry precious cargo, and make memories.

This pillow does not have a holding band on the back, but one may be placed upon request when the auction is won, at no extra charge.'

This pillow was one of my very first.  I feel white is the quintessential wedding color, and while I have a tendency to splash color all over the place most of the time, I do have a traditional side that whispers to me, "White is purity...white is peace...white is untainted love..." and I have to succumb.  I think I have succumbed beautifully with this little pillow. It is soft, sweet, and ....white!

Add Asian Flair to your Wedding!

This beautiful handmade Wedding Set includes a 6" x6" ring bearer pillow and a flower girl basket that is 5.5"x7.5"X3" with a handle that extends 6".

Small, Asian-inspired black and gold flowers adorn vivid emerald green satin fabric. The pillow has several notable features:
-A handcovered button fastens 1/16th satin ribbon to securely hold your precious rings.
-Ivory colored heart shaped stone beads, and three small gold beads affixed to the ends of the ribbons.
-Holding band  has been hand stitched to the backside so small hands can securely carry those rings!
The basket also had unique details:
-Completely covered with coordinating green fabric-even the handle!
-The rim has been hand-beaded with black and gold glass beads.
-The interior and bottom of basket have unique gathers to fit the fabric around the basket.
This was my first stab at a set.   I love the way it came out. The pillow is of a simple design, since the print really is the showcased feature.  I think the beading on the basket really complements the handmade feel of the set. Recently, I have decided to  mostly offer items that you can mix and match, so you're not obligated to but both items, but in this case, the two are only be offered together for the time being. Of course, the price is incredibly reasonable, so buying both isn't even a question!!

Rhapsody in...Purple!?

This pillow measures 7"X7" square shape. The center of this lavender pillow is made of poly satin and is decorated with an exquisite, hand quilted, five petaled satin flower in a rich purple. The purple satin 1/16 inch ribbon which is meant to securely tie your precious rings to the pillow is eight inches long,is a slightly lighter purple and accented on the ends with 3 shiny hematite bead and a matte purple square bead . The center button is hand covered with deep purple poly satin and is ringed with hematite and matte purple square beads that have a slight iridescent cast in an alternating 2-3 pattern. This pillow also has a holding band on the back, which is elastic covered in deep purple fabric, matching the flower, so that small hands can hold tight to precious cargo.
This was the first I completed in the flower series of pillows.  I think it looks like a lily, which is one of my favorite flowers. I sculptured the flowers so they have a bit of a three dimensional effect. Overall, I think it is a lovely pillow. If your theme includes lavender or purple, this pillow would be a lovely addition to your wedding.

Pillow That Have Found Their Homes

These are the first two pillows I sold: "Something Blue" Ring Bearer Pillow  and this red, gift like pillow with iridescent beading in the center flower. Both use the "Gift" model, I guess you could call it, with the ribbons  crossing the front as on a present. The woman who bought the red pillow told me her color theme is platinum and black, with red accents. She had searched and searched for this perfect red pillow, and then, there it was.  She told me she loves it! Her wedding, I believe, is in January, so I am looking forward to getting pictures of that! While both of these pillow have found happy homes, if you see a design you like in either of them, let me know, as I can come up with something similar for you!

Gold Flower Ring Bearer Pillow

Here is another creation: a handmade ring bearer pillow, hand crafted and originally designed by The Wildfire Seamstress.

This pillow measures 7"X7" square shape. The center of this pale gold pillow made of poly satin is decorated with an exquisite, hand quilted, eight petaled satin flower in a deeper gold. The gold chiffon 1/4 inch ribbon which is meant to securely tie your precious rings to the pillow is seven inches long, and accented on the ends with a single gold bead . The center button is hand covered with deep gold poly satin and is ringed with gold and golden brown alternating beads. This pillow also has a holding band on the back, which is elastic covered in light gold fabric, matching the pillow, so that little hands may securely carry your precious cargo to its destination.

This would be such an incredible addition to your special wedding day. All my work is crafted with care and love in a smoke free environment. I focus on quality and unique design, to add to your special day.

Gorgeous Red Flower Ring Bearer Pillow

This Red Flower ring bearer pillow pictured below was the 10th or 11th that I made, the third in the flower series with which I have become quite enamored. It started as a sketch, a couple of failed flower attempts, and finally a sucessful way to get those petals to behave!  I love the quilting process of the petals, in particular, as quilting has been a large part of my sewing experience.  I doubt there is one family member or friend whose baby hasn't been swaddled in one of my baby quilts! The beading process is also relaxing for me, and relates to my experiences making jewelry.

This pillow measures 7"X7 &3/4" in a slight rectangular shape. The center of this red pillow made of poly satin is decorated with an exquisite, hand quilted, eight petaled red satin flower. The red 1/16 inch ribbon which is meant to securely tie your precious rings to the pillow is eight inches long, is accented on the ends with three iridescent pink/red beads and a red glass flower bead. The center button is hand covered with red ply satin and has had three kinds if beads hand applied-a row of silvery-gray hematite, iridescent pink/red beads and a matching red glass flower bead.
